NekoNorthwest IndianaNeko was a very special friend that thought He was one of the cats. We will miss Him very very much. He was one of the best pets we ever had. May He rest in peace. 8/10/2013 We thank Tom at Faithful Companion very much for his thoughtfulness and care.
SylvesterCharlotte, NCSylvester was the best friend we could of had. He was the boss of the street and all neighbors happily let him in to visit and have a snack. He found us as a wild cat and we slowly tamed him. His love of roaming was one thing we could not take away from him. We lost him on 8/10/2013 when he was struck by a car. We miss his meow, his purr and his cuddles at night since he always came home to sleep inside. Now he finally is home for good. Thank you Faithful Companion for a
ZenaRoyal Oak, MIZena our 12 yr old Rottweiler was so awesome and meant the world to me. She loved people and was so loving. She lost all movement in her back legs and we helped her everywhere. We tried leg braces and even a wheelchair but nothing helped and you could see in her eye's she was tired. She couldn't move without help and that was not our Zena. On April 5th, we made that dreadful decision to ease her of her pain. RIP sweet baby girl as you will be in our hearts forever.
ChelseaNorthwest IndianaChelsea, my Blue Merle Sheltie was the love of my life and my best friend. I rescued her when she was 3 years old in 2003 and we had 10 wonderful years together. I just wish she hadn't left so suddenly. However, I am so grateful there was no suffering. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, July 25th. She was definitely The Princess and Matriarch of our family and with my other 'girls'............We went to a local Nursing Home on a regular basis and everyone
RandyRoyal Oak, MIIn November 1998 I went to the Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL) to find a companion. As is typical of kennel situations, most of the dogs were either barking or being shy. Except for one little beagle who walked right up to me as if we'd always known each other. As soon as we got to my house he hopped up right in the center of the couch, of course, and took a nap. Always a handful, always a joy, he was my baby for nearly fifteen years. Even when his fur was near
STONEYClifton, NJIn 2008 I had the pleasure of adopting an 8 year old Lemon Beagle by the name of Stoney from the Sayreville Pet Adoption Center. From the time I found him shacking in the back of his cage till today this wonderful personality brought joy and entertainment to me, my family, and friends. If you were visiting, Stoney would run and pull out all his toys, drop them at your feet, and insist on hours of fun and play. In fact, this loving and affectionate dog was kind to every
AngelRoyal Oak, MIApril 18, 2013 was the day that my sweet Angel went to Heaven. She was 13 years old. The last couple of years, Angel had a lot of health issues and near the end she didn't want to be held or cuddled. I knew it was time the day before she passed when she quit eating and let me hold her for two hours. I knew what I had to do and I miss her so very much. Angel was a Therapy Dog who visited hospitals, a Special Education School and Hospice. Thank you to everyone at Vet Sele
JusticeCharlotte, NCIn loving memory of Justice, I miss you buddy. You were only in my life a short 5 years, but you gave me so much joy and unconditional love. You watched football games with me and it did not bother you when I had to yell and scream. I hope you enjoyed your last years of life as much as I did. Thank you for the wonderful memories and giving me the privilege to be your mom.
PookyClifton, NJPooky was one of four kittens I rescued along with his momma. He was a strong, beautiful black male who was loving and sweet and very affectionate. Pooky was short for Spooky. He was 12 years old when he passed from a liver disease. He will be truly missed and remembered. Many thanks to Greg of the Clifton site for keeping me company, making me smile and being so wonderfully understanding.
Bear AngelCincinnati/Dayton, OHBear kitty was 15 years old but was always a kitty to me. Bear kitty gave cancer one of the toughest battles I have ever seen. Bear never complained and always remained determined to beat cancer no matter how many visits it took us at his Veterinarian and Oncologists office. I tend to had always believed that Bear kitty was holding on for me and it breaks my heart in two to see my second shadow leave to be with my first shadow-Crystalblue in Heaven. They say when you are
