Brandy

Brandy,
You were the Joy of everyday we had for 14 1/2 years. You could have lived 100 years and we still would have never been ready to say goodbye. You made us laugh every single day and most of all you never left our side. Now there’s too much room in our bed, not enough pooch hair on our clothes and furniture and our home is sad without you in it. You will always be the love of our lives and the best friend we’ll ever have.
Until we meet again precious baby. Mom and Daddy will love you forever and ever.

My heart goes out to you as I know just how you feel and what a beautiful pup you had for wow almost 15 years. Today a year ago my doggy daughter Iris was cremated and only now realized by looking at other memorial's that I have'nt put one up for her, which will be remedied today! Iris had the same pet bed, had to be orthopedic as she had bone cancer which was discovered during surgery to remove mammary gland's, she also had lymphoma cancer which inevitably set into her lung's after catching kennel cough from my neighbor's dog's: (

Thank you Tiffany. It has been a hard 3 months without Brandy and this will be our first Christmas in 14 years not having her with us. Like your Iris, Brandy was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer in August. It was a short battle thankfully. She didn't suffer which was all we cared about. I'm very sorry for your loss as well. It's truly like losing a child or a family member. My husband and I thought we would need a long time to heal before thinking of another Dog, but fate unexpectedly brought us Dakota, a 4 year old Pitbull/Mastiff mix, girl. She was living a very sad existence. We rescued her in November and watching what love and a family of her own has done for her has truly helped heal our hearts. I believe God had a special plan for us when he sent us Dakota. Honestly, she rescued us. Nothing can ever replace Brandy, but we are just learning how to live with her in our hearts instead of here physically. I hope you are able to find some peace with your memories in your heart of Iris. Merry Christmas.. Delores
